You know what’s fun? Visiting your favorite local antiques stores and finding a cute, affordable furniture piece just begging for someone creative to come along and give it a bright, beautiful, decorative paint treatment. One day recently we did exactly that.
At 4 Sisters & Etc. Antiques in Zachary we hit pay dirt and came back to the studio with a whole trailer-load of cool antique and vintage furniture pieces to work on.
One of them was a cute, little dropleaf occasional table that I just couldn’t resist. Although the original finish wasn’t in great shape, with a small tin of Oxford Navy Chalk Paint®, some bright gold sealing wax, and a gorgeous Mandala Stencil from Royal Design Studio, I turned it into a drop-dead gorgeous accent piece in just a couple of hours.
